Sugar Gliders are small nocturnal marsupials. If you obtain babies that have been handled early on and well socialized they are very endearing pets. We suggest having as large a cage as possible (size 2 ‘ X 3′ X 4’ high), ideally a safe room that they can exercise in. They are relatively easy to care for and will bring hours of entertainment if you are willing to take a little extra time with them and provide them with life enrichment toys and experiences. We recommend feeding them homemade food cubes in addition to their dry diet. We include the recipe for food cubes with all our pets. We strongly recommend reading up and doing your homework before purchasing a Sugar Glider. Any reputable breeder will help educate you and be there to answer questions and help with any problems you may have.
